Just thought I'd mail you all for a bit of a gloating session.

I'm not too interested in the deep, political and social debates of The
SUNDAYS, I love 'em to bits - every albmum - every song. (I know there's
more of you out there..)

Anyway, the other week, I was at a record/cd fair in Newport, S.Wales,
when to my surprise and delight I spotted the Blind cover out of the
corner of my eye. Nothing special you might say. But this was different..

What I had found was the original press release pack for the Blind
album. It looks like a big book, A4 paper size and nearly an inch thick.
it contains some prees materail on the band, who, where, when etc. AND
both the Cd and cassette of Blind - both still in shrink wrap! All this
for only (here's the cool bit) 12 quid! I almost fell over. (I think
that's about 20 U.S dollars, but don't quote me)

I know it's the U.K release version, as Wild Horses is absent from the
CD, shame I know, but I already have that one. =)

Does anyone else have this, as I think there's part of the papers
missing, maybe some pictures/photos or summin?

I also found "The Blind Sampler" shop promo for only a fiver - I had to
say it was a good day..

if you don't know where you're going..
                                           you'll never get there..

Subject: News (or lack of it) from Patch and Paul

Last week I was guitar tech for my friend who was supporting
Theaudience, the band that Patch currently plays with. Paul Brindley
turned up to watch and go to the aftershow party. I naturally took the
opportunity to ask what is going on regarding our favourite pop combo.

I didn't ask Patch all that much really because he never knows anything,
however I spoke quite a bit to Paul ( and a very lovely gentleman he is
too!). I am sorry to say that there are no plans as far as he knows for
any more single releases or concerts. As far as concerts go he said it
was basically all down to Harriet and David. I said, "Can't they even
play again here in London, that would be no trouble for them?". He
replied "I know, I agree! but it's not me you need to ask!".

He has heard about Our Finest Hour. When I asked what he thought of it,
he wasn't exactly positive or negative. The first thing he said was
"It's very weird". Both Paul and Patch seemed very flattered by the
tribute, but at the same time a little bemused. I think they are
surprised that people love the Sundays music enough to have made Our
Finest Hour.

Tim

I am desperately searching for Sundays singles from Blind and RWA.
There is a store here in Dallas with Blind and RWA on vinyl autographed
by the entire band. I am willing to buy either of those to trade for the
singles. I am also willing to pay for the singles. I already have
Goodbye and Love. Thank you. Ryan Obermeyer. bleepo@hotmail.com
