SMITTEN - tribute band (3)
San Francisco-based Smitten blends heavy distortion with jangly
guitars, pretty female vocals and catchy pop melodies. Lead guitarist
Damon Fries formed the group in 1994 after leaving the pop-punk group,
The Parasites, his taste in music veering toward the British FX-laden
"swirly-pop" of groups like My Bloody Valentine, Lush and Pale Saints.
