Bitter, neurotic ex-lovers pushing the parameters of melody with songs
inspired by confusion, nostalgia, and late night TV, Dorothy’s Melting
was formed in 1993 when young native Russian Alex Ionov relocated to 
the Bay Area, where he met singer Alzara Getz, who then continued his
songwriting experiments.
