LOVE'S EASY TEARS - tribute band (13)
Love's Easy Tears began informally in the Summer of 1997, but got to
work when we found out about the Sundays tribute. Lead singer Megan
MacFarland was just 15 when she recorded the vocals for "I Feel",
which was recorded after only two hours of rehearsal. Charles Anderson
is a former professional blues harmonica player and is now in the
doctoral program in psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University,
along with Jody White, who plays keyboards, percussion, and provides
some vocals. The band's original music is heavily influenced by our
favorite artists, from Sarah McLachlan and the Cocteau Twins to the
Sundays, the October Project, and classic blues and jazz. We plan to
complete a CD which blends these diverse styles some time this year.

Albums:
- Jody White released a solo album way back in 1990. A follow-up e.p.
was recorded in 1994, but is yet unreleased. "love's Easy Tears" is
presently recording their debut CD, which will probably be completed
in the Fall of this year.
